NSTAR Helicopter to Be in Lexington Again Friday
If you see a low-flying helicopter flying over Lexington it is likely from the power company.
As reported on Lexington Patch residents may see a low-flying helicopter in town.
As a way of soothing possible concerns the Town of Lexington posted to its web site that NSTAR will be conducting aerial inspections of transmission lines on Thursday and Friday of this week, according to NSTAR's Community Relations representative.
The helicopter is an orange and white Bell206BIII with tail number 134VG. The helicopter will be flying at a moderate speed approximately 400 - 500 feet above the ground. These aerial inspections take place several times during the course of the year.
