Traffic Alert: Road Work Will Close Main Roads in Lexington This Week

Road crews will be working on Worthen Road and Waltham Street this week.

Here is what is planned for the week:

• Monday, Sept. 30 – Worthen from Waltham Street to Sherburne Road South.
• Thursday, Oct. 3 – Waltham Street between Worthen Road and Vinebrook.
• Saturday, Oct. 5 – Waltham Street from Marrett Road to Worthen Road; and Phillip Road (weather permitting).

The roads will be closed on those days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and there will be no on-street parking.

“Residents living in this area who need to travel during these hours should plan to have their cars parked outside of the neighborhood if possible. Please plan accordingly. Town inspectors will be available on-site if concerns arise regarding access,” according to the Town of Lexington.
