When Does Lexington's Winter Parking Ban Begin?

Winter is coming so when does the parking ban start?

The Town of Lexington's annual winter parking ban is coming soon but you still have a couple more week of parking on the street. According to the Lexington Police Department the winter parking ban begins on December 1 and is in affect until April 1.

During the ban, vehicles can not be parked or unattended upon a street between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Violators can be subject to a fine of up to $20 per offense.

The town has also previously stated that if there is a snow storm and a car is parked on the street it may be towed to allow the passage of snow plows.
