Winter Stop-Motion Animation Workshop on Tuesday

Looking for something for the kids to do on a cold day? How about making a movie? 

Empow Studios at 1776 Massachusetts Avenue is holding a "winter animation program" at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The program is for children in grades 2 through 6. 

"Kids will have a great time learning the principles of stop-motion animation while working in pairs to make their own movie, all with the help of our expert teachers," the event post states. "We provide all the equipment, props and expertise, so students just need to bring their imagination and creativity, Final movie files will be available to download so students can share with family and friends."
