Event Description:
The program promises impressive evening of ensemble work by the LHS Chamber Orchestra featuring the solo performances of competition standouts.
The wining soloists of the 2014 concerto competition will perform accompanied by the Lexington High School Chamber Orchestra. Julia Park'14 will play the second movement, "Vivo e molt preciso" of Walton's Viola Concerto. Nikhil Bajaj '14 is performing a rhapsodic fantasy "The Lark Ascending" by Vaughan Williams. Minyung Suh '16, cellist will perform in the Fall of 2014.
The Chamber Orchestra will conclude the performance with the Scherzo and Rondo from Brahms' Serenade No. 1 in D.
