CareWell Urgent Care Signs on as Official Partner of the Boston Cannons

The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced today that CareWell Urgent Care has signed on as a team sponsor.

CareWell will be a co-presenter of the Cannons’ skills clinics, held in towns throughout New England, as well as the official medical provider of the Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League (MBYLL) Jamboree in June.

CareWell will have a presence at Boston Cannons home games within the Fan Zone and throughout the youth playing fields. Additionally, CareWell will be the presenting partner of "High School Night" at the Cannons’ home opener on April 27, and will have on-field branding throughout the season.

“We are thrilled to welcome CareWell Urgent Care to the Cannons team," said Boston Cannons GM Kevin Barney. “Having CareWell work with us to ensure that the Cannons youth athletes and their families get pinnacle care and injury treatment is important to us.”

"We’re very excited to be part of the Boston Cannons team and support their programs throughout Massachusetts, especially their youth initiatives," said Dave Low, CareWell’s director of marketing. “Most sports injuries happen outside of normal doctors’ hours, so CareWell is truly a perfect match for the medical needs of our local athletic community. Through our partnership, we hope to educate Cannons’ fans on the uses and benefits of urgent care.”

CareWell Urgent Care centers provide treatment for any non-life-threatening, but still urgent, illnesses or injuries, including colds, flu, infections, fractures, cuts, rashes and allergic reactions. Centers offer flu shots, sports and school physical exams, and have on-site x-ray and lab capabilities. All CareWell locations are open 8 am to 8 pm, seven days a week.
