Cary Lecture, Saturday December 7, 8 pm at Cary Hall, Lexington

The second Cary Lecture will be held this coming Saturday, Dec. 7, at 8 pm at Battin Hall.  Our speaker will be Richard Wrangham, Professor of Biological Anthropology at Harvard.  He is a distinguished primatologist particularly interested in  human evolution and in chimpanzee ecology and conservation.  He is also an entertaining and interesting speaker and writer.  His subject will be "How Cooking Made Us Human", which draws on his controversial book, Catching Fire (2009).
Copies of the book will be available in the lobby after the talk.

Please come if you can, and please be sure to tell friends who might be interested!
