Dana Home Foundation Grants $15,000 to Cooperative Elder Services, Inc.

Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) would like to thank the Dana Home Foundation for their recent grant in the amount of $15,000 to provide Adult Day Health, Memory Care and/or transportation services for low-income elders from the Lexington area.  Funds from the Dana Home Foundation will help alleviate the financial burden of care for elders, and their family caregivers, who have limited supports available.  CESI is a non-profit Adult Day Health organization based in Lexington, with centers located in Arlington, Burlington, Milton, Groton and Concord.  CESI provides a welcoming day-time environment for local seniors, with nursing care, nutrition, socialization with peers, therapeutic activities, social services, caregiver support and round-trip transportation offered throughout the week.  The mission of CESI is to delay or prevent nursing home placement by promoting health and independence, and enhancing the quality of life for elders living in the community.  For more information, please call 781-863-1166 or visit www.elderdayservices.com
