Lex Get Fit! - Outdoor “Cardio Boot Camp” Classes

Go at your own pace with group fitness classes. Sessions vary each week but will always include a full body work-out.  You will burn calories while exercising to a variety of different work-outs, such as timed intervals, body weight exercises, obstacle courses, and agility drills. You will utilize the various equipment and terrain in the Lincoln Field area on Monday, Wednesday & Friday and then the Center Track on Tuesday & Thursday.  Each class includes a warm-up, cardio blast, core work, strength and agility components and a stretch.  All levels are welcome to join this outdoor, women-only, fitness series.  

            10 sessions are held weekly from September 9, 2013 through November 27, 2013, weather permitting.  You choose how many times per week works for you.  The more you exercise, the more you save and the better shape you will be in for the holidays.   

             Each class will include warm-up, cardio, strength, core, and cool-down components.   These “Creative Cardio” classes move away from straight jogging and sit-ups and feel more like a “Girls Night Out” atmosphere.   Sign up with your friends to motivate you. Have a “buddy challenge” and enjoy reaching your fitness goals together.

            Classes begin on Monday, September 9th,  2013.   (No class on Columbus Day, October 14th or Veterans Day, November 11th.)
