5 Things: Bring RCN's Ice Cream Truck to Your Neighborhood

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on July 10 in Lexington.

1. Free Frozen Treats! The RCN Summer Ice Cream Truck is back on the road and, for the seventh consecutive year, will roll through neighborhoods in Greater Boston and Metrowest areas, delivering free frozen treats. Want it to swing through your neck of the woods? Tweet @RCNBoston1 why the truck should come to your neighborhood or business and enter to win a visit.

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Community Farming Committee at 8 a.m. at the Town Office Building, the Board of Registrars at 10 a.m. at Cary Hall, the Council on Aging at 3 p.m. at the Senior Center, the Town Celebration Committee at 7 p.m. at the Town Office Building and the Appropriation Committee at 7:30 p.m. at Cary Hall.

5. Showers, Thunderstorms Possible: There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms today, with a high in the mid-80s, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a warm night with a continued threat of storms and a low of 70.
