Farmers' Market Set to Open Soon

A Lexington fave is set to open.

The Lexington Farmers Market is set to open on Tuesday, May 27, at 2 p.m. 

Join at 2 p.m. on the corner of Fletcher Ave. and Massachusetts Ave. for the ringing of the opening bell. The event closes at 6 p.m. 

This opening day event also includes a performance by Bob Leger, and the William Diamond Jr. Fife & Drum Corps of Lexington march from Cary Hall to the market.  Valery Marcantonio's tap dancers make some joyful noise as they entertain with an exciting tap dance performance, as well. 

"We also have an exciting farm tour coming up to raise money to benefit SNAP," said Rose Wall, the market's coordinator. 

Farmers' markets continue every Tuesday from 2-6:30 p.m. from May 27 through Oct. 28. 

It will be every Tuesday 2-630 from May 27 through October 28!! Thanks Charlene!!
