Nicole Case only got her driver’s license 6 months ago, but she recently added another license to her collection – a pilot’s license.
The 17-year-old from Nashua, N.H., became the youngest member of the Hanscom Aero Club. She was inspired by her father Ed, who has been a member of the Aero Club since 1997. The pair have been part of Civil Air Patrol, according to a story on the Hanscom Air Force Base website.
It took 100 hours combined of ground school, flight training and solo flight training to get her license. She even did three cross-country trips. Case said her favorite part about flying is taking off and landing.
