Helicopter to Hover Over Lexington
A heads up not to be concerned if you see a low-flying helicopter.
Lexington residents may see a helicopter flying low over parts of town on Thursday and Friday but should not be concerned.
The Town of Lexington posted to its web site that NSTAR will be conducting aerial inspections of transmission lines on Thursday and Friday of this week, according to NSTAR's Community Relations representative.
The helicopter is an orange and white Bell206BIII with tail number 134VG. The helicopter will be flying at a moderate speed approximately 400 - 500 feet above the ground. These aerial inspections take place several times during the course of the year.
