Lexington Community Education's Fall Catalog Is Now Online

Get a look at the fall lineup of featured speakers.

Lexington Community Education's fall catalog is now available online and will soon be delivered to all Lexington residents, according to a press release from LCE. 

Says the press release, "New classes, perennial favorites and LCE's speaker series continue this term with many new, exciting and engaging topics."

Featured speakers this session include:

  • Peter Diamond, recipient of the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences
  • Abraham Loeb, the Frank B. Baird Jr. Professor of Science at Harvard University, discussing the Past & Future of Our Universe
  • Richard Louv, author of the bestselling book Last Child in the Woods
  • Kennedy Library Director Tom Putnam who will share insights into the life and career of Ernest Hemingway
  • David Ropeik, the author of How Risky Is It Really?
  • Debra Samuels, cookbook author, food and travel writer and cooking teacher, who'll share about her journeys through the culinary world
  • Gordon Neufeld, PhD. who'll discuss his book, Hold on to Your Kids: Why Parents Need to Matter More than Peers; 
  • Poet, author and Francis' Literary Executor Fran Quinn will remember Robert Churchill Francis and his work
  • A lecture and performance of El Arte Flamenco with Roberto Rios
  •  Shake-Scene, a one-person performance of Shakespeare with Actor Stephen Collins.
