Lexington Residents Registered to Run the Boston Marathon

Here's a look at local runners planning to take on the 116th Boston Marathon, along with their bib numbers.

Forecasts calling for a scorcher on this Patriots’ Day may have thinned the field for the 116thh Boston Marathon, but a number of Lexington residents will be running.

More than 30 Lexington residents have registered for the marathon, but it’s unclear this morning if any decided to take the Boston Athletic Association’s advice and defer participation until Marathon Monday in 2013.

Following forecasts for high temperatures of up to 90 degrees along the marathon route, the BAA on Saturday morning issued an emailed statement cautioning inexperienced runners from running and offering a deferment to any official runner who wants to wait until next hear.
