Lexington's 300th: A Few Photos from the Country Fair

A Country Fair featuring local businesses and organizations was a big part of the Sept. 22 kick-off for Lexington's 300th birthday celebration.

After the opening ceremonies and all-town photograph, but before the Dance Revolution 300, the Country Fair owned the afternoon on Saturday, Sept. 22.

With local businesses and organizations setting up booths at Hastings Park, there was pretty much something for everyone at the Country Fair.

Hand-painted pumpkins with local sports logos? Check.

Pillows stitched together from silken ties? Check.

Blue-ribbon contests? Check

Burgers? Check.

Chinese checkers? Check.

Yea, you get the idea.
