LexMedia Offers Summer Kids Classes

Now's the time to sign up for this fun class series.

Every summer, LexMedia runs a week long class for kids 10-to 13-years old. This year’s series will take place July,18 to 22, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The class series is all about learning how to produce a TV show in a collaborative way. In this class the kids do it all, from coming up with the story ideas to writing scripts, acting and running the studio cameras. It is very much a hands on experience.

In the course of the week, the kids will work as a group and will assist each-other in every aspect of production. Typically, the TV program is made of one large show, like a game show or news show. Around this bigger show are the shorter productions, which can take many forms, from fake commercials to promo's for movies and other TV shows.
