Patch Blogs: PSATs Slammed, Endorsements Announced and Insurance Advice

A look back at this week in the 'Local Voices' populating Lexington Patch.

It was an eclectic week when it comes to blog posts from the Local Voices featured here on Lexington Patch.

FOLMADS -- or, the Friends of Lexington Music, Art and Drama Students -- started things off with a wonderful photo of the LHS Wind Ensemble helping to open Lexington's 300th celebrations last month at Cary Hall.

In political content, Mike Barrett, the Lexington Democrat seeking to replace retiring state Sen. Susan Fargo representing the Third Middlesex District, announced his endorsements by the Massachusetts Teachers Association and National Association of Social Workers

Circling back to education, Mark Greenstein, from Ivy Bound Test Prep and Academic Tutoring, shared why he believes PSAT scores have become almost useless.

Mid-week, Renee Hoekstra weighed in with a post on how to change the behavior of someone you care about deeply. And throughout, Patricia Marks-Martinovich, the reverse commuter, peppered us with entertaining snippets from the fasion world.

And to finish the week, Encharter Insurance provided this take on off-road vehicle adventures and insurance coverage.
