PHOTOS: A Look at LexFUN's First Holiday Market

Dozens of vendors, mothers, fathers, children and families shopped and played around and snacked on pizza at LexFUN's first holiday market held Thursday, Nov. 10 at the Church of St. Brigid.

There were local artisans galore at 's yesterday afternoon and evening as scores of men, women and children perused the aisles of kiddie clothes, capes, artwork, jewlery and other things at .

From baby bibs to macarons to developmental toys to support autism, an assortment of seasonal gifts and stocking stuffers were available from the local artisans who set up shop and donated 10 percent of the proceeds to the local Five and Under Network’s preschool and community fund.

In addition to supporting by shopping, there were additional opportunities to be charitable at the marketplace.

At the drop box, folks could donate cash or gift cards to stores like Wal-Mart, Target, Payless, Gap, Old Navy and Toys R Us, to benefit LexFUN! in its partnership with COMPASS for Kids in their second annual Holiday Gift Card Drive to support family in need with their holiday shopping. Also, kits were on sale for the third annual Luminary Night, which will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4.
