Storm Threatens Carnival Cancellation: Lions Debate and Update

Will Arthur cancel the carnival?

Key decision makers for the Lexington Fourth of July Carnival are going back and forth on how to handle the predicted storm for the area on Friday. 

The popular carnival, which started on Tuesday, with fireworks on Wednesday, continues on Thursday, July 3, from 6-11 p.m. and Friday, July 4, from 1-11 p.m. and Saturday, July 5, from 1-10 p.m. 

The Blue Aces, scheduled to play on Thursday, are still on tap to play, as reported at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The Youth Games, scheduled for Friday morning originally, are moving to Saturday.
