Author Tells Tales of His Arctic Adventure at the Cary Library

Award-winning author Mitchell Zuckoff will discuss his book "Frozen in Time."

Lexington’s Cary Memorial Library welcomes award winning author Mitchell Zuckoff who will talk about his latest book, “Frozen in Time.”

The Boston University professor and journalist joined a recovery mission to the polar cap in Greenland. The mission went to find three planes that went down in the area six decades earlier, during World War II.

Along with first-person interviews, Zuckoff used declassified documents, maps, personal photographs and previously unpublished journals to write “Frozen in Time: An Epic Story of Survival, and a Modern Quest for Lost Heroes of World War II.”
