Munroe Center for the Art OPEN HOUSE

On Saturday, September 8 Munroe Center for the Arts will have their annual Open House from 10-1. In the Ceramics Studio, Carmela Goguen and friends and students will be having their annual Throw-a-Thon to make bowls for the December charity event, Empty Bowls.  Bowls that are handbuilt, womple-jawed, or beautifully turned on the wheel are ALL EQUALLY WELCOME.  It will be great fun. These bowls will be glazed, fired, and sold in December at a charity event to raise money for a nonprofit that works to assist people in need of food.  It's all for a great cause.  It will give you a chance to see our studio and meet our teacher.

The rest of the building will be open with representation by the Dance Inn, Lexington School of Ballet, Lexington Music School, and demonstrations by Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do.  Come for dance, music, to see open artists studios, and much more.
