1. Lexington Arts and Crafts Society Student Show
Where/When: Lexington Arts and Crafts Society, 130 Waltham St, Lexington
Why Go: It's an exhibition of original work by adults and teens, beginners and advanced of students enrolled in LACS educaiton programs across a variety of mediums.

2. Hockey Night in CC
Where/When: The Edge Sports Center of Bedford, 191 Hartwell Rd, Bedford
Why Go: It's the first annual Hockey Night in CC, the girls team playing rival Acton Boxboro at 5:20 p.m. and the boys team taking on league newcomer North Andover immediately following the girls game. Add to that there will be youth hockey mini-games between periods, a puck-shooting contest and 50/50 raffles.

Why Go: Lexington’s 20th annual CommUNITY Commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and legacy features a special program highlighting and celebrating the history of diversity in the Lexington Public Schools.

4. Movie - RIVERS AND TIDES
Where/When: Lexington Arts and Crafts Society, 130 Waltham St, Lexington; 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 20
Why Go: It's a screening of the award-winning documentary on the work of naturalist artist Andy Goldsworthy, with light refreshments and informal discussion afterwards.

5. The Hammond Performing Arts Series Presents Constantine Finehouse
Where/When: Friends of The Performing Arts in Concord, 51 Walden St, Concord; 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 20
Why Go: Because, according to the event description, "Pianist Constantine Finehouse will perform works by Beethoven, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, and Schuman."
