Boston Globe movie critic Ty Burr will share some of his insights on the history of stardom when he visits the Cary Memorial Library next Thursday, Aug. 8.
In his book “Gods Like Us” Burr looks back to the stars of silent film – Mary Pickford and Charlie Chaplin – and the celebs of today, including Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts and even the Kardashians.
