he group, now in its 14th year, chose its name to represent the musical freedom -- and challenge -- of making music with a fretless instrument, the human voice. Members of the group have appeared with many other jazz and classical ensembles, performing in the Greater Boston area, across the country, and internationally. The Fretless repertoire reflects the group’s love of an eclectic mix of styles, including jazz, folk, classical, blues, ballads, love songs, humor and pop.  In 2005 the group recorded its first CD, “All the Things You Are.”

The members of the quartet, David Getty, Grant Hicks, Suzanne Jubenville, and Elizabeth Walsh, reside in the northwest Boston area and offer impressive professional performing credits.
