Young Lexington Musicians to Perform at Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras Opening Concert

Child musicians from Lexington will join fellow students from around the state to kick off the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra's 56th Season. 

According to a notice from the orchestra, 24 Young Musicians from Lexington will be performing with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras BYSO’s 56th Season Opening Concert at Symphony Hall on Sunday, October 13 at 3 p.m. at Symphony Hall. 

The Boston Youth Symphony, BYSO’s most advanced orchestra conducted by Music Director Federico Cortese, will perform Brahms’ Symphony No. 3 and Stravinsky’s Symphony in Three Movement. The concert will also feature a performance from musicians in BYSO’s Repertory Orchestra and Junior Repertory Orchestra.
