Best of Patch Readers' Choice: Where's the Best Mother's Day Brunch

This week's Best of Patch Readers' Choice poll is looking for the best brunch spot for Mother's Day.

Mother's Day will be here before you know it, and the chances are that time's running out to make your bruch registrations.

With that in mind, this week's Best of Patch Readers' Choice poll is looking for your favorite brunch spots around Lexington. The hyper-local options aren't overflowing, so we're expanding the search just a bit.

Here are a few favorite places in no particular order, but if we're leaving anyone off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll be sure to add it to the list and poll below:

  • (in Burlington)
  • (in Burlington)
  • (in Arlington)
  • (in Arlington)

Voting's open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments posted below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch. Voting results posted in real time shall not be deemed official until Patch has reviewed and confirmed all of the votes

The best brunch I ever had was in my own home - food was only ok, but watching my kids maneuver in the kitchen was priceless! If you need a location others can enjoy - LEXX is a family favorite.

Mother's Day brunch should be a special occasion, children should be bathed and dressed appropriately for Mother's Day at the Colonial Inn. Ettiquette and behavior and all that should be Father's responsibility before hand, not left to when at the table. Be respectful of Mother and the other Mothers at surrounding tables. Lessons learned early in Life are lasting ones or Mother's Day just become another day. Growing up, helping Mother in the kitchen, serving meals was an everyday ocurance, Mother's Day was special. And no reason not to have a corsarge and card for her before heading to the Inn, hand signed by each in attendance. Remember, Mothers can be of many generations, think twice, thrice, look in all directions, don't ignore the Mother or Grandmother next door living alone.
