First birthdays are kind of a big deal – especially when you’re a hair salon new to Lexington.
Hair Cuttery is celebrating the first anniversary of its Lexington Center store this morning, Jan. 19, with a continental breakfast and additional plans that are still TBD. The breakfast will be served from 9 to 11 a.m.
Christine Sanchez, the salon leader in Lexington, said the community has embraced Hair Cuttery, and her highlights the inaugural year have been participating in community events.
“The people of Lexington definitely welcomed us and made us feel comfortable,” she said. “When they come in here, we feel like family with them.”
Through its first year, Sanchez said Hair Cuttery has enjoyed a good mix of new and returning customers, and enjoyed events like Discovery Day, the Halloween Trick or Treat and holiday tree lighting.
“There area lot of salons in Lexington, and to be able to make it through a year is an accomplishment,” said Sanchez. “We want to say ‘Thank you,’ to the community for all of the support.”
