New Martial Arts Studio Opens at Munroe Center for the Arts

Elite Freestyle Martial Arts held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Munroe Center this past Saturday.

The Munroe Center for the Arts, 1403 Massachusetts Avenue, welcomed its newest educational business this weekend with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Elite Freestyle Martial Arts, which has been operating in the area for 22 years, opened a dojo in the lower level of the center. The martial arts studio will mostly teach children and help them gain self confidence, discipline and respect through training in martial arts.

The center also offers ballet classes, dance classes and music lessons. It also hosts local artists and offers community programs and presentations.

Check out the video of the ribbon cutting and a conversation with Sensei Scott Cioffi of Elite Freestyle Martial Arts.
