Toyota has recalled 615,000 older model Sienna minivans due to a problem that has caused some cars to shift out of park without the driver pressing the brake pedal and rolling away.

According to reports, the recall covers Siennas from model years 2004 and 2005 and 2007 to 2009.

The issue centers on the shift lever assembly. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by mail and dealers should replace the affected part for free.

So far Toyota says there are 21 accident reports and two injuries due to the problem.
