Fitness Together of Lexington Receives Recognition for Local Business Achievements

LEXINGTON, Mass. – Local entrepreneur Kerri Powers was recognized with the Community Impact Award from among 50 Massachusetts Fitness Together studio owners at the company’s recent gala event. The award is given to the studio owner who has shown to have the most positive impact on their community.

Kerri Powers has been involved in the fitness industry since 1996 and found her passion of helping others through Fitness Together. In addition to helping people achieve their fitness goals, Powers is raising money to help fight juvenile cancer. She organized a road race, Crushing Cancer 4 Kids, in Lexington last September that had 150 runners and raised over $5,000. The second annual race will be held September 13, 2014. 

Fitness Together is a global franchise providing one-on-one and small group personal training, called PACK training, to help customers at any fitness level succeed in establishing and maintaining a healthy and fit lifestyle. PACK training offers a highly personalized approach for groups of two to four people, vastly different from large group training classes at big box gyms.
