MASSACHUSETTS RECOGNIZES DEPENDABLE CLEANERS AS A WOMAN-OWNED BUSINESS

(Quincy, Mass. – April XX, 2014) – Dependable Cleaners, Boston’s leading provider of convenient and exceptional garment care, has officially been recognized by  the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO) of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a certified woman-owned business enterprise (WBE).

This certification will allow Dependable Cleaners to participate in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Supplier Diversity Program (SDP). The mission of the SDP is to develop policies and procedures to increase business opportunities for certified vendors in the state contracting process.

“This is a very exciting moment in the history of our company,” said Christa Hagearty, CEO and president of Dependable Cleaners. “This opportunity will allow continued growth and expansion, and we look forward to participating as a vendor in the state contracting process.”

Vendor certification with the Commonwealth opens up new doors for Dependable Cleaners, which can now use its WBE status to serve as a marketing tool and a valuable asset in the statewide contracting process. The certification with the SDP will also allow Dependable Cleaners to develop new relationships with other businesses with certified M/WBE in the public marketplace.
