Five Things: Art Nook Opens at LACS

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know today in Lexington.

1. Back Door Gallery, Art Nook: The Lexington Arts and Crafts Society has created a second gallery, to be open year-round to showcase the works of the artists and craft persons of LACS guilds. The new gallery, located at LACS's third door parking lot entrance, is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

2. Lexington Youth Lacrosse Spring Registration: Registration is now open to the general public for Lexington Youth Lacrosse's spring season, which runs from March through mid-June. All Lexington residents in grades 1 through 8 are eligible to play, and online registration, as well as complete program descriptions by grade and gender, are posted over at lexingtonlax.org.

3. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Community Preservaiton Committee at 2 p.m. at the Town Office Building and the Recreation Committee's Lincoln Park Subcommittee at 4 p.m. at the Town Office Building.

5. Sunny Day, Cloudy Night: Should be mostly sunny today, with a high around 42, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a cloudy evening with a low of 26.
