Five Things: Laughter Club, Bible Study, Meetings and More

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on March 7 in Lexington.

1. Lexington Laughter Club: Not only is it a thing, it's a thing that meets at 6 p.m. tonight at First Parish.

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the ad hoc School Transportation and Safety Study Committee at 9 a.m. at the school administration building, the Commission on Disability at 5:45 p.m. at Cary Hall, the Diamond Middle School Council at 6:30 p.m. at the middle school, the Historic Districts Commission at 7 p.m. at the Town Office Building, the Special Education Advisory Council at 7:30 p.m. at Lexington High and the Appropriation Committee at 7:30 p.m. at Cary Hall.

3. Reading the Bible from Start to Finish: At 8 p.m. tonight at Temple Emunah, the temple's study group, Reading the Bible from Start to Finish or  Perek Yomi, will meet. They study 12 chapters per month, going beyond synagogue readings to discuss the material with peers.

5. Snowy and Windy: Snow's in the forecast -- about 2 to 4 inches of it -- with wind gusts of up to 38 miles per hour and a daytime high of 35, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a blustery and snow evening with a low of 31.
