Five Things: Lexington Ed Fund Global Treasures Multicultural Bazaar

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on Dec. 6 in Lexington.

1. Lexington Education Foundation Global Treasures Multicultural Bazaar: The Lexington Education Foundation will hold its second annual Global Treasures Multicultural Bazaar from 2:30 to 8 p.m. today at Cary Hall. The event celebrates Lexington’s diverse student population with unique gifts, samples of multicultural cuisine and a variety of performances from around the world.

2. Preliminary FY2014 Departmental Budget Presentations: The Board of Selectmen at 8 a.m. this morning will host fiscal 2014 departmental budget presentations the the Finance/MIS, Planning, Economic Development and Public Works departments.

3. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, other public meetings posted for today include the ad hoc School Transportation and Safety Commitee at 9 a.m. at the LPS Administration Building, the Community Preservation Committee at 2:30 p.m. at the Town Office Building, the Commission on Disability at 5:45 p.m. at the Town Office Building, the Historic District Commission at 7 p.m. at the Town Office Building, the Housing Partnership Board at 7:30 p.m. at the Town offie Building and the Hanscom Area Towns Committee at 7:30 p.m. at the Concord Town House.
