Five Things: LWV Candidate's Night is Tonight at Lexington High

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on Feb. 14 in Lexington.

1. Candidate's Night at Lexington High School: At 7 p.m. tonight, the League of Women Voters of Lexington will its annual Candidates Night in Science Lecture Hall at Lexington High School.

2. Pony Rides to Support the Equestrian Team: From 2 to 3 p.m. today (and 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday) Four Fillies Farm is offering pony rides for children ages 3 and up. The $10 cost is to benefit the Lexington Equestrian Team.

3. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Tree Committee at 7:30 a.m. at the DPW Building, the Lexington Center Committee at 8 a.m. at the Town Office Building, the ad hoc School Transportation and Safety Study Committee at 9 a.m. at the Central Administration Building, the Permanent Building Committee at 7 p.m. at the DPW Building, the Youth Commission at 7 p.m. at Cary Hall and the Board of Appeals at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Office Building.

5. Sunny Day, Cloudy Night: Should be mostly sunny today, with a high of 44, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a partly cloudy evening with a low of 32.
