Five Things: Town Boards Mulling Sizeable Real Estate Purchase

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on Feb. 4 in Lexington.

1. Town Boards Talking Scottish Rite Property: The Appropriation, Capital Expenditures and Community Preservation committees will participate in a Board of Selectmen meeting at 7 p.m. this evening at the Town Office Building, and the only item on the aenda is to discuss a possible real estate purchase at 33 Marrett Road.

2. Sidewalk Committee: It meets at 8 a.m. this morning at the Town Office Building. Take a peek at the agenda here.

3. Fuel Assistance for Eligible Lexington Residents: The Fuel Assistance Program, a program that helps with the cost of heating your home, accepts new applications through April 30, 2013. Call the town of Lexington Senior Center/Human Services Department at 781-861-0194 to schedule an appointment and/or to inquire about the program.
