2. Lexington Field & Garden Club's Annual Plant Sale: The Lexington Field and Garden Club's annual Plant Sale opens at 8 a.m. this morning at the on Marrett Road. Perennials from club members' own gardens will be featured items for sale, along with an array of herbs, flowering annuals and hanging plants provided by local nurseries, plus gently used gardening books and tools and more.Proceeds from the Sale will be used to purchase the trees, bushes, and flowers that Club members plant and maintain in many of the town's public spaces.

3. The Nature of Boys with Dr. Michael Thompson: Educators and parents in the United States are engaged in an important debate about the way we raise and educate boys, and in a Lexington Community Education program at 7 p.m. tonight at the , Dr. Michael Thompson will give suggestions to teachers, fathers and mothers about how to support a boy in the early years of school and how to help a boy remain emotionally open in adolescence. 4. Marketing with Public Speaking: At 1:30 p.m. this afternoon at , Nonprofit Net, a nonprofit organization based in Lexington, is hosting a seminar on self-marketing with public speaking for nonprofits, featuring Stuart Paap, who has worked professionally as a public speaker for over a decade, and regularly speaks at universities, conferences and organizations.

5. Showers, Wind and Warmth: There's a chance of showers (again) and wind gusts of up to 22 miles per hour as temperatures climb to 70, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a chance of showers overnight as clouds roll in and temps dip into the mid-50s.
