Lexington's 300th: Breeches, Bloomers and Bell Bottoms Oh My

Tickets are still available for this weekend's funky, fundraising fashion show through time.

The following was provided by the Lexington 300th Committee.

Held on Oct. 27, at Lexington High, this fundraiser will keep you entertained, to say the least.

Reasons to be there: Three selectmen, the chairman of the Town Meeting Members Association and Town Moderator are transported to the 1920s, 20-plus LPS teachers to the 1970s, the Boston Massacre, George & Mary Burnell in tennis whites, a barbershop quartet, talented LHS actors and a list of who's-who at Town Hall in the 1960s.

It's funny--a great cast, tons of cameos, singing and dancing, 300 years of fashion--and it’s a terrific way to help fund the 300th Anniversary Celebrations.

Tickets range from $10 to $30 and can be purchased at the Town Clerk's Office or at the door, the night of the performance.
