Lexington's Hurricane Sandy-Related Closures for Oct. 30

Hurricane Sandy stops school again, and town offices will open late -- if at all -- on Tuesday, Oct. 30.

According to an email from Town Manager Carl Valente, the Lexington Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 30 and town offices will open no earlier than noontime.

Cary Memorial Library, the Senior Center and the Lexpress transportation service will be closed, as well, Valente said.

The same services were closed and unavailable on Monday, Oct. 29, due to severe weather from Hurricane Sandy, which has downed trees and knocked out power throughout the region.
