Throughout this Fourth of July weekend -- like so many other before it -- the has been a hub of activity where Lexingtonians and others celebrated American independence in any number of ways.

From the ferris wheel to the fireworks to the fried dough, the carnival offered something for just about everyone, including special youth games from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. today at Crumb Field.
