While many families will be enjoying patriotic activities, carnival rides, backyard barbeque, evening fireworks or summer vacation, those hanging local could be curious about what's open and closed on this Fourth of July holiday in Lexington.

Note: Some liquor stores are open today, including , which tweeted yesterday that the chain's Lexington locations will be open until 6 p.m.
