Where Should A Crosswalk Be Added in Lexington?

Last month, Lexington Patch asked you where in Lexington drivers ignore stop signs most. Among the responses, Cedar and Hill streets came up a few times.

Now, we would like to ask readers: Where should a crosswalk be added in Lexington?

What do you think? Let us know by posting a comment in the comments section below.

There should be a lower speed limit on Concord Ave/Main Campus Dr. I'VE SEEN KIDS ON THEIR BIKES TRYING TO GET ON THE OTHER SIDE. PEOPLE DO ABOUT 70 mph on Concord Ave. It's crazy.

I think they need to add a more prominent sign or cone at the existing crosswalks to make them more visible (like we have in the center).

A crosswalk is greatly needed on Wachusett and Prospect Hill Rd (between Marrett and Outlook/near Bridge school). There is no side walk on Wachusett, so many children have to cross Prospect Hill, with speeding cars to get to and from school. Many children have almost been hit by cars that ignore the speed limit and do not have the courtesy to stop and let children cross the street safely. If anyone has more information on how we can get a crosswalk painted (many parents would be happy to do it themselves), please let us know.
