Lexington Election Center - Special State Election

The Special State Election is on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, voters in the 5th Congressional District will decide which individual will be the district's newest U.S. Representative.  The person will replace former representative Sen. Ed Markey. 

On the ballot are Democratic candidate Katherine Clark, a state senator who lives in Melrose, Republican candidate Frank Addivinola, a Boston lawyer and Independent candidate, James Hall, an attorney from Arlington.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Here are the poll locations for the different precincts: 

Precinct 1: Cary Memorial Building, 1605 Massachusetts Avenue. 

Precinct 2: Bowman School, 9 Philip Road.

Precinct 3: Clarke Middle School, 17 Stedman Road - (Enter of Waltham Street via Brookside Avenue).  

Precinct 4: Bridge School, 55 Middleby Road. 

Precinct 5: Cary Memorial Building, 1605 Massachusetts Avenue. 

Precinct 6: Diamond Middle School, 99 Hancock Street (Enter off Hancock St at  Burlington Street traffic circle). 

Precinct 7: Estabrook School, 117 Grove Street. 

Precinct 8: Samuel Hadley Public Services Building, 201 Bedford Street. 

Precinct 9: Maria Hastings School, 7 Crosby Rd (Massachusetts Avenue near Route 128).
