A French A Faire

Immerse yourself in the ambiance of France on February 9th!

Warm up February with a romantic afternoon at the 5th annual A French A Faire on February 9th.  Sample French wines, cheeses, breads, chocolates, and other delicious treats!  This celebration is one of many in honor of Lexington’s Sister City: Antony, France.  It will include a live auction, and entertainment.  Come to the Depot in Lexington Center from 4 – 6:30 p.m. and take a break from the wintery weather.

The proceeds of A French A Faire will support Antony Park (being built adjacent to Tower Park on Massachusetts Avenue) where a ground breaking ceremony and picnic was held on Memorial Day.  Tickets are $35 per person and may be purchased at the door or at Wales Copy Center, 1810 Massachusetts Ave and the Visitors Center, 1875 Massachusetts Ave.  To purchase by credit card or to be added to our Constant Contact list to be notified of French events, email us:   lasca@tourlexington.us

Lexington has close associations with Antony dating back to the 1980s.  Our connection with Antony began with a student exchange and a visit and exhibition by Lexington artists.  Lexington residents have hosted Antony guests in 2000 for the 225th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington, and again in 2010. Most recently the Mayor of Antony and his delegation joined us in celebration of Lexington’s 300th in May 2013 .
