Artists' Books: An O.W.L.L. Course

Printmaker Theresa Monaco, Professor of Art Emerita at Emmanuel College, teaches this four-session lecture series that will explore the world of past and present artists' books including those by William Blake and Paul Matisse. Ms. Monaco will show how contemporary artists create not only holdable books but digitally accessed books and how artists expand the concept of the "book" today as well as in the past. This lecture series is sponsored by Older, Wiser Lifelong Learners (O.W.L.L.) and will take place on four consecutive Thursdays from 10AM to 12 Noon beginning on February 20, 2014 at St. Brigid Parish Center.
