Beyond Rhyme or Reason, Diamond Middle School Drama Ensemble

Bring the entire family to Diamond Middle School Drama Ensemble’s performance of Beyond Rhyme or Reason, an original play created and directed by teacher, Kate Bromley. The play is inspired by Ms. Bromley’s love of poetry and spoken art and features poems by Edgar Allan Poe, Tupac Shakur, Langston Hughes, Robert Frost, Lewis Carroll, Shel Silverstein, Maya Angelou, and others. Students explore the rhyme, meter, and themes of poems that range from serious to nonsensical, thought-provoking to entertaining. The 7PM show opens with a performance by the Middle School Jazz Ensemble, directed by Toby Forman.
