Creative Winter Floral Arrangements

The November meeting of the Somerville Garden Club features a demonstration by experienced floral designer and gardener (and SGC member) Tom Sopko. Using the late-in-the-season plant material found in our own backyards, Tom will create three arrangements, for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Winter. While building these arrangements, he will discuss design elements such as form, texture, color, and scale, plus practical considerations for successful, long-lasting centerpieces. Tom's creations will be added to the raffle that ends every SGC monthly meeting.
The Somerville Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month; meetings are free, and the public is invited to attend. Parking is available on site, and the building is a short walk from the Davis Square Redline T station. Meetings are on the second floor, wheelchair accessible. Please visit www.somervillegardenclub.org for additional information.
