"Edible Landscape Design"

Make Your Garden Look and Taste Wonderful This Summer!
The April meeting of the Somerville Garden Club features a presentation by Barbara Emerson, a Principal Master Gardener and enthusiastic grower of both new and heirloom vegetables. Barbara will cover the concepts to consider when you add edible plants to your ornamental garden or edible flowers to your vegetable patch. Barbara will also give a short history of food gardening, and demonstrate how planting containers can help city dwellers with only a patch of sun grow their own healthy food.
The Somerville Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month; all meetings are free and the public  (from all communities) is invited to attend. Parking is available on site, and the building is a short walk from the Davis Square Redline T station. Meetings are on the second floor, wheelchair accessible.
