LEXINGTON MINILUXE AND MAGIC 106.7’S CANDY O TEAM UP TO EMPOWER PEOPLE TOUCHED BY CANCER

MiniLuxe and Magic 106.7 radio personality Candy O are taking action in support of the Friends of Mel Foundation. From Sunday, February 3rd to Friday, February 8th in Lexington, one can buy a bottle of Candy O polish or get any Candy O colored nail service (manicure, pedicure, etc.) and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Friends of Mel Foundation, designed to help those who have been affected by cancer.

“We are so excited to be working with Candy O to support the good work of the Friends of Mel Foundation,” says Thirlwall. “Everyone deserves miniluxuries in their life – and it’s even better when they go towards giving support to caretakers and family-members affected by cancer.” 

Candy O says, “I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was a teenager and on that day, I became a warrior in the fight against breast cancer.  Friends of Mel is among my favorite local charities because it was created out of friendship for an incredible woman named Mel and is known worldwide for their signature beaded bracelets. To be honored by MiniLuxe with my own hot pink nail polish is the coolest thing EVER!  My mother would be tickled pink!”
